Significant Other

God commanded you to take my hand
         but what you do is make me sad.

God told you to love me as yourself
        but what you do is love someone else.

God realized that it was not good for man to be alone
        but now you insist to be a player on your own.

God declares that you leave your family and be one with me
        but what you do is make our relationship three.

God indicated that we should be one flesh
        but instead you have become a thorn in my flesh.

You vowed to love me through sickness & health
       but instead you left me when I was nearly dead.

State of Mind

"I have it under control",  well that's what we all think until something happens.
Our mind starts to wind up like an old grandfather clock,
It ticks away trying to decipher what had happen,
"What should I do next, where should I go?"
"Is this really happening, is any of it real ?"
We ask these questions not expecting an answer,
But to comfort ourselves and put things in perspective.
Our mind has gone haywire, thoughts drifting like a strong current
Words splashing like  tidal waves.

Is it too late?

It's never too late for a shower of rain !
But is it too late to gain courage?
Is it too late to find love?
Is it too late to loose fear?
Is it too late to love your enemies?
Is it too late to to develop kindness?
Is it too late to change life totally?
Is it too late to make new friends?
Is it too late to start a family?
Is it too late to be successful?
Is it too late to love yourself?
The answer............
Jesus was three days late and still on time;
Therefore its never too late for you!

New Beginnings

New year, new hope
New dreams , new trends
But as for me, its like 'last year's story never ended'.
Its just a next chapter in this book called life
For me to write on its pages with delight.

New experiences, new knowledge
New friends, new promises
But in the end will it all make sense?
I can't really be sure,
so I'll take each 'new'
and make it my own.
So that  I can create a best seller in the end.
