Are we connected to a greater force? We wake each morning and open our eyes in the comfort that our lives are speared another day...the ONE who has granted us such privilege is often neglected.  We move about as if it is a surety that we can move and breathe. Do we communicate with the GREATER POWER thanking HIM for small mercies? Do we seek to be connected to him through praise? Do share simple thoughts? Convey  an idea before go ahead with? Before we move our legs do ask his permission? We should! Connect to that GREATER POWER...through the simplest of things, a smile, a wink a mere word might even suffice just make it our duty to connect to HIM.

International Women's Day

Women have come a very far way since the beginning of time. With the creation of Eve we have made our mark in history, however bleak our start might have been. It is often said that our mistakes is not what defies us as a person, and thus we have strive for excellence since then.

I salute all the pioneers who have paved the path for us to follow. The sweat, tears, and hard work have not gone in vain. As women we will continue to hold our heads high and stamping our mark on the world.

My philosophy

My personal philosophy is guided by the quote “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn” ( Benjamin Franklin).

Hello, my name is Roshene Pierrie and I have a passion for education which is reflected in my career choice.  My personal beliefs are influenced by my faith in a higher power, Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of our fate.  In my spare time I enjoy surfing the net, reading, listening to music and writing poems. Additionally, I take pleasure in spending time with family members as time is promise to no one. I try my best to maximize these moments as we can never know they will be taken from us. I strongly believe that education is a vehicle which opens many doors and should be accessible to all despite of race class or gender. I have an innate desire to help others achieve, not just academically, but also mentally and spiritually. The feeling that comes with seeing another person succeed at whatever they do is just indescribable.

Education helps with the overall growth of students through increased personal and social consciousness, and placing importance on values as well as interpersonal and social relationships. In addition, education can help to empower the leaner to understand who he is, what he wants to become and decide the society in which he wants to live. I strongly believe that it is the right of every child to be exposed to some degree of formal education as every child is born with the potential and the drive to learn and should be treated as individuals.

We are living in a technological era and so it is relevant and imperative that education system reflects this.  It is our duty as teachers to expose our students to a wide variety of technology that exist from a very early age.

It's all a cloud of dust that's clouding my mind

No clarity left, there's no sanity

No longer can I go on

No more strength left in me to fight,

I've come to my wits end. 

In conclusion this is it. 

A Process

Learning is an on going process. There are so many things that are out there in the world to be discovered and endless possibilities at  new opportunities. It is our jobs as individuals to take up the challenge and move towards the  vast wealth of knowledge that exist.

Life in itself is a process. Each waking day you discover something new, whether about yourself or someone else. Its a never ending roller coaster ride, that if you are not careful you fall out of your seat.

Another Chance

Its the day that marks another milestone on this journey called life.

I thank God for his continued guidance and protection thus far.

I might have failed him so many times but HE is always willing to forgive.

Please forgive me as I need need your grace to make it through. 

It is because of him why I'm here today, it's the unconditionally love that  He pours down on me. 

So many persons have left this earth under various circumstances without even getting the chance to receive such a gift  but today I gladly accept JESUS CHRIST has my Saviour. 

I recommit my life to HIM because without HIM I'm lost.  

I leave the rest of my existence in YOUR hands, let YOUR will be done in my life my strength and Redeemer.

The Christian Walk

Things I do, the things I say are place under a microscope
The expectations, the commitments
Are more than what meet the eyes.
This Christian journey is not an easy one.

Prayers go unsaid, bibles go unread
But most of all souls go unleaded.
It is a shame sometimes to see
The things we do and say that we are Christians.

Interactions with others make the journey even more challenging
The conversations we have and the mean words exchanged makes
The Christian faith looks really bad.

If Christ was here He might say: 
"My child why are you making me feel this way?
Please ensure that you get back on the Christian path"
